Bed & Breakfast Lieu d'Or is a wonderful place for a holiday in the Dordogne and Parc Naturel Regional Perigord-Limousin. The 200 years old Perigourdine house is situated on the slopes of the valley of the river Isle, on the edge of the village of Jumilhac le Grand. A perfect place to spend your holiday or just a beautiful place to break your journey!

The Bed & Breakfast offers 5 comfortable double rooms with en-suite bathrooms

and WiFi.

During the summer we serve our guests French breakfast on a daily bases and

dinner once a week.

The wonderful climate gives you the opportunity to live outdoors most of the

time. Our beautiful and sunny terraced garden stretches right down to the

river where you have splendid views of the river, the chateau and the woods.

The garden offers several possibilities for our guests to relax, to read a book

or to have a quiet conversation. You’ll enjoy a refreshing swim in the river

                on a hot summer day!

The house is situated in the National Parc Perigord-Limousin where you can enjoy long walks and bike tours, or just enjoy the sun, swim, climb rocks, play tennis, fish, dig up some gold, visit a market and of course visit the Chateau de Jumilhac. For those who love to play golf there is a 9 holes 36 par golf course in St Medard d’Excideuil and a 18 holes golf course in Perigueux and Limoges.

Events for both the young and the elderly are organized in Jumilhac le Grand

during the whole summer. The region offers you lots of beautiful medieval

villages like St. Yrieux-la-Perche, Perigueux, Brantôme and St. Jean de Cole.

In other words: the Dordogne has a lot to offer.
